Don't Just Hope To Be

 Part Of Your Children's Life

Plan On It!

The DADS and MOMS of MICHIGAN Bi-Nuclear Parenting Assessment Process allows parents to develop a plan that will help facilitate successful shared/co parenting of their children.

3 Step Assessment Process

  • The first step in the assessment process to take a look at the current bi nuclear parenting dynamic.  Strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities to successful shared parenting are identified.  In addition, the parents capacity to co-parent is analyzed in six categories.
  • Continuity
  • Care Giving
  • Emotional Bond
  • Employment
  • Moral Fitnes
  • Cooperation
  • The parents desired situation is then evaluated based on the same criteria.
  • The gap between these to situations is then evaluated and an action plan is developed.  This action plan can be used by the parent to help ensure that  they remain in the lives of their children post divorce or separation.
The Shared Parenting Assessment process includes professional consultations with both a family/relationship therapist and a family law attorney.
